This essay systemically summerizes the effective ways of energy saving and consumption reduction in highway construction, they mainly include using energy saving machine, strengthening the equipment management and maintenance, developing the technology of warn-mixed asphalt, popularizing bulk cement, improving the utilization of renewable resourses such as pavement asphalt, coal gangue, and fly ash.
