空间是文化的载体。所谓城市地方特色，就其本质而言，是地方文化的一种映射，体现为空间与文化的双重建构。

Space is the vehicle of culture. Regional charateristics of a city essentially is the rigional cultural featuaes of the city and her architecture. This paper is using Suzhou as a case, by studying the cause of chanrcteristics of its features, to find out the deep dual texture of space and culture of the city.
