“广陵恶习”与石涛无关——兼论“维扬工力”

Lack of Relevance between Guangling Bad Practice and Shi Tao

清代王原祁《雨窗漫笔》中有一则画论:广陵、白下,其恶习与浙派无异。此画论为众多美术史论家们所引用,对其中所谓的广陵恶习,很多人认为指向石涛,至少包括石涛。而通过考证,广陵恶习应另有所指,即指李寅、袁江、王云一派的绘画,从而证明广陵恶习与石涛无关。

In Qing Dynasty, a comment on paintings in Wang Yuanqi＇ s Ramble in the Rain Window states that ＂the Guangling and Baixia bad practice is the same as that of the Zhejiang School of painting. This comment is cited by many scholars in art historical comments, who believe that the so-called Guangling bad practice refers to Shi Tao＇ s paintings, or at least includes his. Through textual research, this paper demonstrates that Guangling bad practice refers to others＇ paintings, namely, the paintings by the School of Li Yin, Yuan Jiang and Wang Yun, thus proving that Guangling bad practice is irrelevant to Shi Tao.
