摘要 在二级视频网格和三级视频网格结构的基础上,提出当某区域服务器的网络带宽占用达到所设定的阈值时,将部分具有较高配置的客户端主机作为加盟服务器使用,以降低区域服务器的工作负载,同时原有的结构被扩展为树状的多级结构。详细论述了这种基于数据流量控制的多级视频网格结构的设计和工作模式,以及当加盟服务器突然失效时点播服务的平稳迁移策略。通过视频网格模拟器VGSim对这3种结构的视频网格服务能力进行模拟,结果表明,基于数据流量控制的多级视频网格结构的服务能力被有效增强。 The method is brought forward based on the video grid of two and three layers architecture, that a part of client computers with high performance will become of temporary video servers, to provide video services to other users, while the occupied network bandwidth of a local video server reaches the threshold. The payload of the local video server will be lessened, and the original video grid architecture will be expanded as the video grid of multilevel architecture. The design thought and process model of this multilevel video grid based on data stream control is discussed in detail. The strategy of service transfer is mentioned when a temporary video server failed randomly. The simulation result produced by the VGSim, a simulator of video grid, shows that the service capacity of multilevel video grid is enhanced effectively.
