摘要
就中国大学生所遇到的英语听力问题进行调查,结果显示,目前大学生所遇到的十大英语听力问题依次是:语速、干扰、听到的词与读到的词不一致、生词、漏听、紧张情绪、句子复杂程度、背景知识,焦虑和挫折感以及语音语调不熟悉。有鉴于此,英语听力课堂教学应将相关听力策略训练纳入其中,以提高学习者的听力成绩。
The study sets out to investigate listening problems of Chinese non-English major undergraduates. An analysis of participants' verbal reports and weekly diaries indicates ten major listening problems. Namely, they are: speaking rate, distraction, gap between the words read and the same ones heard, new vocabulary, missing incoming input, being nervous, sentence complexity, background knowledge, anxiety and frustration, and unfamiliar pronunciation. It is believed that improved listening ability paves way for the development of communicative competence of university students.
