摘要
最优秀的语言设计需要语法分析器自身具有更少的规则,从而变得更加透明;同时,尽快把生成的表达式在接口处进行拼读,以便减少工作记忆负担。然而,OT语法框架中语法分析器的非透明特征与整体性推导与上述学界的流行观点相悖。因而,本文认为,虽然它具有较强的解释力,但是并不代表这种理论具有可学性。
Optimal language design requires, on one hand, that parser bears less, if no, specific rules of its own to be more transparent, on the other, that the generated representations be closed and discharged as soon as possible to reduce the load of working memory. Based on the essential nature of non-transparency of parser and global derivation, OT grammar, though enjoying powerful interpretability, is incompatible with the necessities above and not learnable.
