A Summary and Consideration of the Studies on Wole Soyinka in China

沃尔·索因卡是用英语写作的尼日利亚作家，在其获得诺贝尔文学奖后激发了我国学者对其研究兴通，他们不仅从作者的生平经历、文化背景来揭示其作品的深层内涵，还从语言、意象、文化等方面来阐释其作品的艺术性。但是，目前索因卡研究中还存在许多问题，需要扩大研究领域，拓宽研究视角，才能提升研究水平。

Wole Soyinka, a Nigerian writer, writes in English. After he was awarded the Nobel Prize, the scholars in China began to show great interest in Wole Soyinka. They have not only made researches into his life and cultural background to expose the deep meaning of his works but expounded the artistic quality of his works in language, image, culture, etc. However, there exist many problems in the study of Soyinka at present and only by expanding the field of research and widening the visions of research can the research level be upgraded.
