The 30＇s in the 20th century was an important period in the development of music education in schools in China. In the period, many musicians reflected the theory and practice in music edueation, on the basis of which they compiled and examined different music textbooks, and attempted to construct the Chinese music education system with its own characteristics. Different schools of music education thoughts and practices enriched the Chinese music education theory, which brought about great impact on the music education theory and practice later on.
