摘要
采用高温固相法合成了Nd3+:La2CaB8O16(Nd:LCB8)多晶料,以CaB4O7为助溶剂,采用顶部籽晶法生长了Nd:LCB8单晶。X射线衍射和差热分析结果表明:Nd:LCB8和LCB8具有相同的晶体结构;Nd:LCB8晶体的熔点为1046℃。测试了Nd:LCB8晶体的吸收光谱和荧光光谱。在300~1000nm波段存在多个吸收带,其中802nm吸收带对应于AlGaAs激光二极管的输出波长,带宽为19nm。在890,1060nm和1330nm处分别存在发射峰,室温下测得Nd:LCB8晶体的荧光寿命为75μs。
A new neodymium-doped lanthanum calcium borate (Nd^3+:La2CaB8O16, Nd:LCB8) polycrystalline powder was synthesized, and a Nd:LCB8 single crystal was grown by top-seeded solution growth (TSSG) method with CaB407 as flux. X-ray powder diffraction analysis shows that Nd:LCB8 has the same crystal structure as that of LCB8. The melting point of Nd:LCB8 crystal is about 1 046 ℃. The absorption and fluorescence spectra of Nd:LCB8 were measured. There are several absorption bands in the wavelength range of 300-1 000 nm due to the 4f^3-4f^3 transitions of Nd^3+ ions in Nd:LCB8 crystal, and the absorption band at 802 nm corresponding to the output wavelengths of AlGaAs diode lasers has a full-width at half-maximum of 19 nm. There are three emission peaks, around 890, 1 060 and 1 330nm. The measured fluorescence lifetime is about 75 μs at room temperature.
