The Crisis of Water Resource and Sustainable Utilization in Beijing

水资源短缺已经成为北京城市发展的主要瓶颈。文章分析了北京市水资源危机发生的原因，探讨了北京水资源合理利用和保护的途径。研究表明，开源与节流并重，保护与利用并举，最大限度挖掘当地水资源潜力，是锵决北京水资源供需矛盾和实现水资源可持续利用的有效措施。

Water shortage has been an obstacle for Beijing. This paper analyzed the causes of water crisis in Beijing. Some countermeasures were suggested to deal with the water crisis in the following years, which included improving water management and water saving policy system, exploiting the water resource from rain and flood, readjusting industry and agriculture structures, encouraging water recycling, controlling soil and water erosion and so on.
