一、1997年亚洲金融危机后泰国银行业的改革之路
1997年亚洲金融危机中，泰国饱受国际投机资金冲击之苦，特别是泰国银行业为满足国内融资缺口而大肆举借外债，进行外债内投、短借长投，币种和期限不匹配风险不断积聚，最终由于泰铢的突然大幅贬值而遭受巨大冲击。
As a legacy of the 1997 crisis, Thai banking industry underwent sweeping reforms in the past 10 years. Thai banks are now in better shape than in the past, no mater in efficiency or stability. This will help Thai banking industry get though the current global financial crisis. However, the direct effects of the crisis are not large, but the indirect effects will begin to matter because of the deterioration of the real economic conditions. Besides liquidity risk, the Thai banking industry will have to face credit risk and interest risk in the future.
