重庆市自2007年6月成为全国统筹城乡综合配套改革试验区之后,必然要求我市在缩小城乡差距、地区差距、群体差距等方面要发挥更加重要的作用。逐步推进重庆市基本公共服务均等化,成为我们的必然选择。实现基本公共服务均等化有利于推进我市经济社会的可持续发展,有利于构建和谐重庆,有利于贯彻落实科学发展观。为此,我们必须通过创新基本公共服务体制机制、加快我市经济发展步伐、改变我市城乡二元经济结构等举措扎实推进重庆市基本公共服务均等化。
