Study on the Rules of Information Sources from Some American Elites Research to China through Citation Network——A Sample on Using Methods of Library & Information Studies into the Field of Sino-US Relations

基于中美关系与图书情报两个领域跨学科研究并主要对其中的图情思路进行分析。介绍如何通过图情方法形成观察美国对华研究的视角,基于引文网络将多种定性定量方法结合的具体操作。同时提出"定量开路、定性深入、工具辅助"的判断。课题在方法论上的示范意义,无论图情领域还是中美关系研究领域都可借鉴。

Based on an interdisciplinary study on sino-US relations and library ＆ information studies, the paper introduces some methods of library ＆ information studies in it. At the level of ‘approach＇ and ‘tool＇ in method, the paper presents how to form a visual angle to observe the research on some American elites to China, how to use the combined methods of qualitative and quantitative a- nalysis to citation network and do an judgment of ＇ with a quantitative analysis starting, qualitative analysis deepening and software tools aiding＇. The paper sums up that as a model the interdisciplinary study will help both of sino-US relations and library ＆ information studies on methodology.
