Objective To study the effects of mild hypothermia on the patients with the craniocerebral injury. Methods All 68 patients with severe eraniocerebral injury were retrospected by random sampling divided into the mild hypothermic therapy group (34 cases) and the control group (34 cases). The effects of mild hypothermia was evaluated according to GCS after injury, and compared with that in control group. Results GCS after mild hypothermia treatment in 6-10 days after injury were higher than that in control group, there were significant differences( P 〈 0. 05 ). Conclusion Mild hypothermia therapy may clearly reduce complication and improve prognosis for the patients with severe craniocerebral injury.
