Four Forces Influencing the Teaching Service Quality

摘要 本文引用法律学教授劳伦斯.莱斯格撰写的《信息空间的代码和法律》一书中所提出的社会行为理论框架,建立一个系统化控制教学服务质量的工作模式。文中定义教育机构为一类提供知识服务的社会机构,旨在向周围的社会环境提供知识积累和传播的服务。莱斯格提出的四个社会约束力模型,在理解技术知识和人类社会之间的复杂关系上尤为适用。在此基础上,我们将教育机构视为一个微型社会,运用四种社会约束的力量对它进行控制和管理,用以实现教育机构的功能目标。我们设计和实施了一系列工程专业课程改革,并以清华大学工业工程系的教学构思过程和运作经验为例说明这一概念。 In this article, a working mode that systematically controls the teaching service quality is established by quoting the theoretical framework of social behavior proposed in the book Code of Cyberspace and Law written by professor Lessig Lawrence. Educational institutions in the paper is defined as agencies in a service industry that provide knowledge accumulation and transmission services to its surrounding society. It can be found that Lessig's four-force model is particularly suitable for understanding the complex interactions between technical knowledge and human societies. Under the circumstances, educational institutions are treated as miniature societies, and the four-force model is applied to control and manage them so as to realize the function targets of educational institutions. Besides, a series of reforms of engineering courses are designed and implemented, and they are illustrated by showing the teaching process and operation experiences of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University.
