回顾湖北省高等职业教育三十年发展历史,经过起步萌芽、外延扩张、内涵发展三个发展阶段,湖北省高等职业教育取得长足进步,基本形成布局合理、结构优化、质量稳步提升的发展格局。展望未来,湖北省高等职业教育应在促进区域经济社会发展进步方面发挥更加重要的作用,成为湖北率先实现"中部崛起"和"教育强省"战略的重要支撑点。

The development of higher vocational education in Hubei province has experienced the stages of sprouting, expanding and quality developing over the past 30 years, which has formed the development pattern of rational distribution, optimized structure and stable upgrading of quality. Prospecting future, higher vocational education in Hubei should produce greater impact on promotion of regional economy and social development by becoming important support of realizing ＂central prosperous＂ and ＂strong education province＂ in Hubei.
