参考文献是科技论文的重要组成部分,它能反映作者的研究过程,方便读者查阅.对湖南师范大学自然科学学报1999～2008年发表论文所引用的参考文献的多个指标进行了统计分析,并首次提出了参考文献的时效性概念,为作者撰写论文时提高所引用的参考文献质量提供参考.

Reference is an essential part in scientific and technological articles. It not only reflects the research process but also provides the reader much convenience. An analysis of the references used in the articles published in the Journal of Science of Hunan Normal University from 1999 to 2008 establishes efficiency as an important standard for the reference and thus helps to improve the quality of the article as manifested through the references used.
