基于形状边缘方向直方图的图像检索算法研究

Research on Image Retrieval Arithmetic Based on Edge Direction Histogram

描述了一种基于边缘方向直方图(Edge Direction Histogram,EDH)的图像形状特征提取方法,算法提取的特征向量同时满足尺度、平移和旋转不变性。实验证明该方法对于具有单一背景、形状特征明显的图像具有较好的检索效果。

This paper describes an extraction method of shape feature of images based on edge direction histogram. The shape fea- ture extracted is invariant to scale, translation and rotation. The experiment result illuminates that the method has a good retrieval performance for images that contain a single background and obvious shape.
