摘要
该文试图认知现代文化地理学新理论、新方法与旅游研究之间的联系。首先对旅游研究的文化地理趋向做了概括性刻画,而后就文化地理学的理论进展及其方法论问题做了旅游研究方面的评估。在整个分析过程中强调现代文化地理学在旅游研究中所发挥的隐喻作用。笔者认为,如果旅游研究在理论上能得到现代文化地理学方面的补充,则其研究也将得到极大的深入。
The principal aim of this research is to try to recognize the relationship between the new theories of modern cultural geography and tourism studies. This paper focuses on the cultural interface between tourism study and modern cultural geography. And then the effect of tourism authentic and inauthentic experiences, industrial restructuring and postmodernism, private and public representations, producer and consumer, cultural circuits theory and communication( transmission, reception and re- sponse) is introduced and examined. There is an important inter-relationship between theory and methodology. The authors do not negate the necessity of spatial and economic approaches, but suggest that other analytical approaches should be explored further. It is believed that tourism research will be furthered if its theories and approaches are complemented by modern cultural geography analyses.
