改革英语课教学方法，加强学生能力培养

在2009年3月5日第十一届全国人民代表大会第二次会议上，温总理在《政府工作报告》上指出：“各级各类教育都要着眼于促进人的全面发展，加快课程、教材、教育方法和考试评价制度改革……”。改革是发展的动力，也是实现科学发展的重要保证。教改的问题主要是教员问题，作为高等职业技术学院的外语教师，应该做好教育方法的改革。不仅要傲到给人以“鱼”，还要加强学生能力培养，授人以“渔”。作者以本学院一直坚持进行的高职高专英语分级教学的经验为基础，结合自己的教学实际，提出高职英语教学法改革应着眼于加强学生的学习能力培养，根据学生的能力层次，实施分级教学，逐步提高学生的英语水平，教会学生如何学习。

At the Second Session of the Eleventh National People＇s Congress on March 5, 2009, in Report on the Work of the Government, Premier Wen Jiabao said, ＂we will advance well-rounded education. Education of all types and at all levels must focus on promoting all-round development of students. Reform of curriculums, textbooks, teaching methods and examination and evaluation systems should be accelerated to ＂ Reform is the power of development and also an important guarantee for achieving the scientific development. The problems of reforming teaching methods are mainly depended on the teachers. As a teacher in a Vocational College, we should reform the teaching methods perfectly, not only teaching the students ＂knowledge＂, but also improving their abilities, namely teaching them skills or how to learn themselves. The authors integrated the experiences of classified teaching methods in the college with their own teaching situation, raised that the reform of vocational English teaching methods should pay more attention to strengthen the students＇ learning abilities, implemented classified teaching according to the students, improved their English and taught them how to learn.
