According to the characteristics of polysulfide rubber wastewater which contains thiosulfate with high concentration, two-stage biological oxidation process was designed and used to remove the thiosulfate and organic pollutant respectively. The practice showed that the treatment effect could meet the acceptant standard of sewage treatment plant in the industrial zone. This technology was proved to be rational, reliable and economical in operation.
