The Concept of Quality in Contemporary Society

面对经济全球化的发展和社会变迁,质量的概念正迅速扩大并联系到政治、经济、社会日常生活的方方面面。从管理学领域派生出来的目前广泛应用的传统质量概念已经不能满足和符合现代人类社会实践过程中的质量意旨。应从哲学和社会学的视野建构现代社会的质量观念,给传统的质量概念赋予更多的价值导向和人文关怀,使其能正确诠译经济、社会的发展现状,解决经济增长面临的问题,搭建现代社会的质量话语平台,指导质量实践并引领社会向我们所期望和意旨的高质量方向发展。

With the development of global economy and social.changes, the concept of quality is extending to involve all aspects of politics, economy, society and everyday life. The currently widely used traditional quality concept, which：derived from management field, is unable to fully express the quality purpose of social practice in the modern world. Therefore a new concept of quality with more value orientation and humanistic care should be defined from philosophical and sociological perspectives, so as to correctly interpret the current situation of society and economy, solve problems with economic growth, build modern discourse platform of quality, guide quality practice, and ultimately lead social development toward high quality as expected.
