The Miao ethnic minority can be found living in China’s Guizhou,Hunan,Yunnan,Sichuan,Guangxi,Hubei and Hainan provinces.There are large areas of settlement in southeastern Guizhou and along the borders of Hubei,Sichuan, Guizhou and Hunan(predominantly in western Hunan).Smaller areas of settlement also exist in Guangxi’s Damiao Mountain。
