Research on the Relationship between Undergraduates' Coping Styles and Personality Traits

目的:初步探讨应付方式与人格之间的关系。方法:采用中国人格量表(QZPS)和应付方式问卷对298名大学生进行调查,利用典型相关分析等统计方法考察大学生的应付方式与人格特质的关系。结果:第1、第2对典型变量的相关有统计学意义,其相关系数分别为0.700和0.390。应付方式通过2对典型变量可以解释人格特质变异的48.02%。人格特质变异通过2对典型变量可以解释应付方式的22.66%。结论:人格特征对应付方式预测作用小于应付方式对人格特征的预测作用。

Objective： To explore the relationship between the coping style and personality traits of undergraduates. Method： The questionnaire survey was conducted among 298 undergraduate students by Chinese personality assessment scale and coping style questionnaires. Data were analyzed by canonical correlation analysis and other methods to explore the correlations between coping styles and personality traits. Result： The first two pairs of canonical correlation coefficients were 0.700 and 0.390 respectively with statistical significance. Through canonical variant, coping style could account for 48.02% of the total variation of personality traits, and personality traits could account for 22.66% of the total variation of coping style. Conclusions： The predicted effect size of personality traits to coping styles is less power than reveres.
