摘要
英国女剧作家卡里尔.丘吉尔的戏剧创作,通常将女性放置在广阔的社会、经济、历史、文化的时代变迁中来考量,以跨越时空的艺术构思,使用社会主义的、历史主义的视角,描绘一个个鲜活的女性形象,具有明显的女性主义特征。文章以丘吉尔早期女性主义代表作《天之骄女》为个案,对其写作所产生的缘由、剧作的现实观照与历史意识等方面进行考察、论述,进而揭示女性主义文学的发展趋势。
Caryl Churchill, a most active and influential feminist playwright in contemporary Britain, is not only concerned with various problems modem British women face, but dedicated to the investigation of female fate throughout history as well. The thesis attempts to make a textual study of Top Gids in terms of the background of Churchill＇ s creation, her meditation on reality and her historic consciousness, providing a general view on the trend of feminist literature.
