袁氏故居是袁世凯的祖居和诞生地,是河南省重点文物保护单位。故居建筑宏伟,设计精巧,拥有巨大的旅游开发价值。目前,外部交通条件已经具备,但是,旅游宣传不够,维修经费缺乏,开发模式落后,阻碍了袁氏故居旅游的发展。为此,应借鉴国外的经验,使故居旅游功能由单一走向多样化,以满足游客多方面的需求,促进袁氏故居旅游的发展。

Based on careful on - the - spot investigation of the geographical position, historical evolution, original appearance of Yuan former residence, as well as the resources in it, this article puts forward the strong points and weaknesses in developing tourism resources in Yuan＇s former residence.
