The Methods to Improve Visual Refresh Rate for High-End LED Display

摘要 目前显示屏的应用趋势是走向对显示画面的刷新率与输出色阶的要求愈来愈高,其中刷新率愈高,则人眼所能感觉的播放画面就愈不会闪烁,而输出的色阶愈高,则画面的显示就愈细腻,色彩也愈丰富。而与这些功能有密切关联的就是显示屏系统所采用的驱动芯片,不过芯片要达到上述规格的需求并不容易,需要快速的OE反应来提高灰阶度和影像的刷新率。 The market requirements for high-end LED display become far more rigid, especially on the visual refresh rate and grayscale levels. Higher visual refresh rate reduces flickers, and more grayscale levels help enrich the color of the images when displaying images.The above LED display requirements are highly related to the capabilities of LED drivers, such as fast OE response time to increase the grayscale levels and visual refresh rate. The following paragraphs explain the methods to improve visual refresh rate to meet the need of high-end LED display market.
