This article mainly discussed two chapters all named Variations in Tactics in two different ancient books Military Science of Sun Tzu and Kuan Tzu. The two chapters have the same titles and similar background of Qi culture,and also have brought confusion to scholars from the titles to contents. We can learn more about the thinking of the two ancient books through comparing the similarities and differences between Variations in Tactics.
