Refutation of Qian Zhong-shu's Discourse on "Collapse of Theoretical System"

学界有人引用钱钟书提出的"系统垮塌"之说,反对理论体系的建构努力。然而,无论是从钱钟书的具体论述还是从他的运思取径,都不仅得不出理论系统之无益的结论,反而恰恰在佐证着理论系统的价值所在。

Some scholars quote Qian Zhong- shu＇s discourse which argued that all theoretical systems had collapsed in order to oppose the efforts＇to construct theoretical system. However, not only the specific viewpoint of Qian Zhong- shu, but also his academic thinking is precisely in support of the theory of value.
