摘要
在系统功能语法中,物质小句表达经验世界里的"做"和"发生",它的语义结构受及物/作格系统的支配。物质小句的中动态或有效态特征又使及物/作格结构得以再次划分。最终英语物质小句的各种语义结构可以概括为两种图示:中介-过程和施动者-过程-受动者。但是假有效态小句不能归于这二者的任何一种,它是一种中心结构向另一种中心结构的隐喻扩展。
In SFG, material clauses are clauses of doing and happening. The semantic organization of material clauses is governed by the transitive/ergative system. The middle or the effective voice of material clauses makes the subdivision of transitive/ergative structure possible. Finally the various semantic organizations of English material clauses can be summarized in two schemata： the Medium-Process schema and the Agent-Process-Affected schema. However, the pseudo-effective clause cannot be generalized into any one of the two schemata; they are metaphorical extensions from one central structure type to another.
