民族的剧院 世界的舞台——访德国曼海姆民族剧院

Mannheim's National Theatre on the world stage

曼海姆拥有30万人口，是一个典型的德国城市，其城市歌剧院就，是大名鼎鼎的曼海姆民族剧院。《歌剧》杂志的朋友约我写一篇介绍德国曼海姆民族剧院的文章。我很高兴地接受了约请，本来约好了剧院的总监盖尔伯（Gerber）女士，但是当我趁圣诞新年德国度假之际真正采访时，不巧盖尔伯女士病倒了。

OUTLINE/As the oldest local theatre in Germany,the National Theatre of Mannheim will celebrate its 230^(th) birthday on 7 October 2009. The idea of building the original theatre developed at the suggestion of Prince Elector Karl Theodore.In 1782,Friedrich Schiller's first major drama,The Robbers,had its world premiere there in the presence of the playwright.During his lifetime, Mozart was also closely connected with Mannheim.
