Expressions of leptin and vascular endothelial growth factor in non-small cell lung cancer

摘要 目的探讨瘦素和血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)在非小细胞肺癌(NSCLC)组织中的表达及两者之间的相关性。方法采用免疫组化SP法检测40例NSCLC及其癌周正常肺组织中瘦素、VEGF表达。结果瘦素及VEGF在NSCLC中表达均高于癌周正常肺组织(85%vs.40%和75%vs.30%)(P<0.05),且两者的表达呈正相关(r=0.736,P<0.01)。其与肿瘤的淋巴转移情况、分化程度及TNM分期密切相关,但与患者年龄、性别、肿瘤类型没有相关性。结论瘦素和VEGF与NSCLC的发生密切相关。瘦素可能通过上调VEGF的表达而在NSCLC的浸润和转移中发挥了一定的作用。 Objective To study the expression and correlation between leptin and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in non-small cell lung cancer. Methods The expressions of leptin and VEGF were detected by immunohistochemical staining (SP) in the lung cancer and tumor-adjacent tisues in 40 cases with NSCLC. Results The expressions of leptin and VEGF in NSCLC tissues were significantly higher than those in tumor-adjacent tissues (85% vs. 40% and 75% vs. 30%, respectively) (P〈0.05), which was associated with lymph node metastasis, differentiation and TNM stage,but not with age, gender and type of tumor. There was a positive correlation between the expression of leptin and VEGF (r= 0. 736, P〈0. 01 ). Conclusion Leptin and VEGF are closely correlated with the pathogenesis of NSCLC. Leptin may have an important role in tumor invasion and metastasis by tip-regulating the expression of VEGF.
