Technology,not Coming to Perfection but Escaping from Death——The Comparative Study of Two Kinds of Purposes and Historical Views of Technological Evolvement

人类技术活动的目的因及其技术史观是重要的问题。强势理论是"追求完善论"。文章借助于海德格尔的理论,揭示技术之"逃避死亡"的本质,从而说明这样一个事实:技术是人类的生存方式。由此,引入另一种技术史观——逃避死亡的循环技术史观,以代替不断进步的技术史观。

The questions about the general intention of mankind ＇ s technological activity and the corresponding view of the history of technology are very important. The prevalent theory is that of coming to perfection. With the help of Heidegger＇ s theory, this article is going to reveal the substance of technology as a way to escape from death. There by, such a fact will be demonstrated that technology is the way for mankind to exist. Logically, a different view will be introduced：the history of technology forms a cycle in which mankind incessantly seeks to escape form death.
