In this paper , An EDBM─JINEGSⅡ supporting for JICFEX newly developed is de- scribed. JINEGS Ⅱ is useful tool for organizing and maintaining data files and index files, in which the index file consists of B-trees and each node in a B-tree is made up of a set of key val- ues , index pointers , and associated data. JINEGS Ⅱ's interfaces provide a wide variety of algo- rithms based on random retrieval of secondary storage data.
