摘要
对于高性能、高可靠性存储系统,其控制器须具备实时在线检纠错能力。为了便于硬件实现OTF(On-The-Fly)检纠错,本文提出了RS(Reed-Solomn)码译码的并行Berlekamp算法,并设计了实现算法的模块化纠错硬件单元和相应控制逻辑。根据不同应用场合对纠错能力的要求,可以对这些模块化纠错硬件单元进行灵活的组合。
For highperformance, highavailable storage systems, The ability of realtime online error check & correction is neccessory. To accomplish OnThe_Fly error correction, a parallel Berlekamp algorithm for ReedSolomn decoding is presented and modular hardware error correction units are designed in this paper. According to error correction requirements these units can be combined arbitrarily for varible applications.
