An experimental result of treating the highfluorine waste water of a fluorite mine was introduced. Such influencing factors as defluorinating reagent, coagulant, coagulate promoter, pH value, reagent feeding procedure and agitation time were studied in the experiment. The process flow and reagent requirement for the waste water treatment were determined. The research result has been applied to production practice, and good social and economic benefits were obtained.
