摘要
Jiangsu Rongsheng Heavy Industries (江苏熔盛重工), China's largest private shipbuilder, won an order to build four vessels for Oman Shipping, the state shipping company of the Sultanate of Oman. The contract, valued at USD 490 million, will be the biggest shipbuilding deal in the world this year, against the background of a downturn in the global shipbuilding sector. The four vessels which are 360m-long, 65m-wide, 400,O00-ton Very-Large Ore Carriers, will be delivered by 2012. The shipbuilder is also planning to launch an H share LPO by the end of 2010.
