Lamborghini, the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, plans to set up its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Beijing as of September, after China became the world's largest automobile market earlier this year. The car maker, which entered the Chinese market in 2004, expects to increase vehicle sales to 100 in China throughout 2009, up from 72 in 2008. Lamborghini also appointed an exclusive distributor in Xiamen, which is the auto maker's sixth distributor in China after Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Hangzhou.
