新时期大学英语教学中的文化教学

Culture Teaching in College English Classrooms

我国《大学英语教学大纲》(1999)明确指出,文化和语言有着密切的关系,一定的文化背景知识有助于促进语言应用能力的提高。大学英语教学目的之一就是提高语言应用能力和文化素质。鉴于此,笔者提出新时期大学英语教学中文化教学的几点建议。

College English Teaching Syllabus in China （1999） has pointed out that language and culture are closely related to each other.Cultural background knowledge contributes a lot to the improvement of language ability.One of the purposes of college English teaching is to enhance students＇ language ability and cultural accomplishments.In this paper, the writer puts forward several suggestions about culture teaching in college English teaching.
