For dealing with the influenza around the world, Belgium set up formally a series of correspond institutions in 2006. The emergency mechanism is the guarantee for implementing Belgium pandemic influenza preparedness plan and measures. This article presents Belgium＇ s public health system, organization at national level outside a crisis period and during a crisis period, comparativeness between Belgium＇ s emergency system and WHO phases, governmental function, etc.
