The bumping is the practical application environment of naval ships. The combination factors of bumping environment and their influence on the equipments of naval ships were introduced. The test conditions and methods of bumping test were introduced. It was stressed that bumping test is important to evaluate the environmental worthiness and structural firmness of the equipments of naval ships under bumping environmental conditions.
