By analyzing and comparing the old and the new ＂Dialogue Decalogue＂ of Leonard Swidler, an American religious philosopher, this paper tries to show the differences and similarities of the two series of ground rules of dialogue and reveal the significance of his Deep-Dialogue/Critical-Thinking theory and its contributions to the global dialogue theory.
