武陵山区苎麻生产历史悠久,是湖南苎麻主要产区之一。苎麻为武陵山区农村经济发展和农民增收发挥了重要作用。但生产中受产品需求、价格等因素影响,面积、产量变幅较大,稳定性不强。同时,还存在着品种混杂、纯种园和良种园不多、生产水平较低、产品初加工技术设备落后等问题。针对问题,提出了科学规划、技术改造、建设生态麻园、提高生产和产品加工技术水平等措施。

Ramie has been planted in Wuling for a long time, it is one of the main producing region of Hunan. Ramie plays an important role in the development of economy and the income of peasants in Wuling. Ramie production is influenced by the price and the requirement,so ramie production varies wildly in the area and the yield. At the same ＂time, fine breeds and pure breeds are deficient. Processing falls behind. In order to solve these problems, scientific planning, technical reform, garden construction and so on are put forward.
