摘要
可持续发展是21世纪人类面临的严峻考验。GIS具有强大的数据管理和空间分析能力,为城市环境可持续发展研究提供了强大工具。着重探讨了GIS在城市环境资源调查、规划决策、动态监测、模拟预测、影响评价中的应用及意义,给出了建立基于GIS的城市环境信息系统的总体设计框架。
Sustainable development is a great challenge for human race in 21^st century. With powerful functions about data management and spatial analysis, GIS can be a research tool for the sustainable development of urban environment. The paper discusses the application and meaning of GIS in terms of investigation of urban environmental resources, programmed decision - making, dynamic monito- ring, modeling prediction and impact assessment. It presents the general framework for establishing urban environmental information system based on GIS.
