A Comparative Study of the Two Tutor Systems Respectively for Undergraduates and Graduates

本科生导师制与研究生导师制是两种不同的教育机制,二者在基本职能、导师队伍建设、导学方式、平台构建、工作机制、功能定位及实现途径等方面存在明显区别,前者重在人生引导,具有开放性,属于隐性教育的范畴,后者重在学术指导,属于显性教育的范畴。

The tutor system for undergraduates and that for graduates are two different educational mechanisms, differing from one another in many ways including the basic functions, the construction of tutor teams, the guiding patterns, the construction of platform, the working mechanisms, the positioning of function and the means of realization. The former is open with its stress on giving students life-related guidance, while the latter lays emphasis on giving students academic supervision.
