摘要
介绍了一种用于高精度DAC测试的数字正弦波发生器。该发生器应用坐标轴旋转数字算法(CORDIC),计算出输入角度的三角函数值;同时设置相应的控制单元,可产生幅度和频率皆可调节的实时数字正弦波。电路在Xilinx的FPGA开发板ML401上实现,并利用SoPC技术提供控制幅度和频率的界面。设计的发生器已应用于高精度(20位)音频DAC测试,产生的SNR大于120 dB,可满足测试要求。
A digital sine-wave generator for high resolution DAC test was presented, in which CORDIC (Coordinate Rotation Digital Computation) was used to work out sine value of the input angle. Digital sine-wave with adjustable frequency and amplitude was generated in real time by corresponding control units. Implemented in Xilinx FPGA development board ML401, the generator provided an operation interface of amplitude and frequency with the help of SoPC technique. When used for testing a high resolution audio DAC, the generator had an SNR greater than 120 dB, which met the requirements of the test.
