Practice of Architectural Regionalism in Zhangjiajie——Design of Lanyuan Hotel

地域性是建筑的最基本特征之一,在现代建筑的发展中却被忽略了。本文结合张家界兰苑山庄酒店的设计实践,阐释了将地域性设计概念应用到现代建筑设计中的问题,强调了地域性建筑在全球化趋势下的重要性。

Regionality is one of the most basic characters of architecture,which was,however,neglected during the development of modern architecture. In this article,combining with the practice in designing Zhangjiajie LanYuan Hotel,the author analyzes the problems of apply in design concept of regionalism to modern architecture and emphasizes on the importance of regional architecture in the trend toward globalization as well.
