The necessary of foundation reinforcement to existing building was analyzed, the technical principle of building foundation reinforcement was proposed. The foundation reinforcement methods to existing building were introduced, including grouting reinforcing base method, enlarging foundation basal area, pit underpinning, root pile method and so on, so as to accumulate building foundation reinforcing experience.
