＂Advanced International Textile Science and Technology Forum＂, organized by Xi＇an Polytechnic University, was held in Xi＇an in April 11 - 12, 2009. More than 240 experts and academicians attended this forum, including 23 oversea scholars who came from the USA, UK, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan etc. The representatives discussed the present issue of the textile industry and related subjects in the meeting, and some oral presentations were also made.
