摘要 纤维与纺织是一个高度密集型的学科领域,集中了机械、化学、材料、生理和艺术等学科.历史上很少有材料对人类的影响能与纤维和纺织品相比.纤维材料将持续在我们的日常生活中起重要作用,而且它们的作用正扩展到其他非纺织领域.本文选择性地列举了澳大利亚迪肯大学材料与纤维创新中心的多学科研究活动,主要强调纤维和纺织中的新兴研究,包括纳米结构表面功能性涂层,用静电纺超细纤维,天然纤维的新应用等. Fibre and textile is a highly multidisciplinary field, drawing from fields such as mechanics, chemistry, material, physiology and art. In history, very few materials have affected human's lives more than fibres and textiles. Fibre materials will continue to play their important role in our daily life, and such important role is also extending to other non-textile areas. This paper gives selected examples of multidisciplinary research activities performed in the Centre for Material and Fibre Innovation ( CM- FI) at Deakin University, Australia, with an emphasis on emerging fields in fibres and textiles, including nano-structured surface functional treatments, electrospinning of ultrafine fibres, and new applications of natural fibres.
